BET+ has announced the upcoming premiere of its new action-packed film, “War Dawgz,” directed and written by Kevin Grevioux.
The film will stream exclusively on BET+ on Thursday, October 16th.
In War Dawgz, after the United States is attacked by a foreign invasion force, a group of central Los Angeles citizens must protect their neighborhood from both occupation and annihilation.
The score will be composed by Brett Winters.
Set against the backdrop of Compton, California, this gripping action-drama follows Rocker, a stoic yet devoted military father who returns home from deployment—only to find his community under siege by a mysterious foreign force.
When all communication is cut off, Rocker becomes the unlikely center of resistance as churchgoers, mechanics, teachers, police, and even rival gang members unite to defend their streets.
Meanwhile, Rocker’s son, Trent, and his girlfriend devise a daring plan to restore communications and reach the Pentagon before it’s too late. With the odds stacked against them, the people of South Central must rise together to reclaim their home and fight for survival.

Walter Jones as Ed “Eddie” Ivory – A history teacher who brings wisdom and strength to Rocker’s circle of friends.
Brandon Quinton Adams as Cedric Grier – A dedicated social worker standing with his community.
Moriah Brown as Michelle Warfield – A tough and dedicated officer working alongside Sanders.
Raven-Symone as Pam – A nurse with a heart of gold and amazing bravery. The caretaker of the community who is not afraid to go to a full-scale war to defend it.
Kevin Grevioux as Jericho – A war veteran, survivalist, and eccentric neighborhood figure with an arsenal to match his reputation.
Guiding the project are Executive Producers Jason Harvey, Matthew Macur, Jim Burleson, and Kurt Van Fossen. Producers Kevin Weisberg, Damien Douglas, and Ryan D. Adams lead the production.
